Women's Nutrition Hormonal Health PCOS Research Supplement Science

Welcome to Fresh and Fit Living

Hello, I'm Dr. Rol, and I'm genuinely delighted you're here. If you've landed on this page, chances are you're on the same journey that changed my life: the pursuit of real, sustainable health as a woman.

Fresh and Fit Living was born out of frustration. For years, I watched friends, colleagues, and patients wade through an ocean of conflicting health advice, overpriced supplements with dubious claims, and wellness trends that came and went as quickly as they arrived. I wanted to create something different. A place where women could find honest, research-backed information they could actually trust and use.

My Background and Credentials

My background spans over 15 years in health research, nutrition science, and women's wellness. I hold a doctorate in health sciences with a specialisation in women's hormonal health and nutrition, and I have spent the better part of my career studying how supplementation, diet, and lifestyle interact with the female physiology at different life stages.

Throughout my career, I have worked with women dealing with hormonal imbalances, PCOS, perimenopause, post-natal recovery, and the everyday challenge of staying healthy and energised in a demanding world. That clinical and research experience underpins every article I write on this blog.

My areas of deep expertise include:

  • Women's hormonal health and the role of nutrition in hormonal regulation
  • PCOS management through lifestyle and evidence-based supplementation
  • Gut health, the microbiome, and its impact on mood, immunity, and metabolism
  • Collagen, protein nutrition, and musculoskeletal health in women
  • Magnesium and micronutrient deficiencies in modern women's diets
  • Evidence-based supplement review and product formulation analysis

Why I Started This Blog

When social media became the primary health adviser for millions of women, I knew I had to act. The TikTok wellness space, while enthusiastic, is also full of misinformation. Products go viral for the wrong reasons. Important context gets left out. And women are left spending their money on things that simply don't work for their specific situation.

I started Fresh and Fit Living to be a counterweight to the noise. Every post I write starts with research. I review clinical studies, analyse product formulations, and speak to women with real lived experience before I ever make a recommendation. My aim is not to be the loudest voice in the room. It is to be the most trustworthy one.
